About a month ago, a girl I've known since I was 16 and worked at Pathmark e-mailed me through my business website. We'd lost touch over the last few years - I quit that job nearly 10 years ago - but she'd run into my best friend, who also worked at Pathmark with us, and told her she was getting married. My friend let her know that I'm now an invitation designer and told her to look me up. Well, she did, and I've spent the last 2 weeks working on a save-the-date design for her.Her main colors are black and silver, but her flowers are bright - orange, purple and green. We wanted to incorporate that into the design. She also liked the idea of a photo card. This is not a frou-frou girl we're talking about; simple is best, but I also wanted it to be interesting. So here's my favorite of the designs I came up with. I hope she'll feel the same way!
